Specialist procurement
Complex materials.
A documented supply chain.
Trident Investments supports the sourcing of specialist industrial chemicals, energetic compounds and precursor materials for licensed industrial end-use. We coordinate technical requirements, supplier qualification, documentation and the practical movement of regulated cargo.
What categories are covered?
The public service categories include industrial process chemicals, potassium carbonate, silicone emulsions, specialty oxidisers, energetic compounds and energetic precursors. Availability and the appropriate supply route depend on the material, specification, intended end-use and jurisdictions involved.
A product enquiry begins with the technical and end-user requirements. It is then assessed alongside the approvals and documentation applicable to the proposed transaction.
How are quality and documentation handled?
Our team works with supplier technical information, certificates of analysis (COAs), safety data sheets (SDSs) and end-user documentation. Supplier qualification and specification control establish what is required before a procurement commitment is made.
Depending on the material and route, the documentation may include import licences, international environmental convention requirements and maritime cargo classification.
Who is responsible for end-user clearances?
Trident assists in the facilitation and documentation preparation for security clearance processes, which remain the end-user’s formal responsibility. We do not present ourselves as the issuing authority for those approvals.
Compliance preparation and freight planning can run in parallel where timelines permit. The required approvals must be in place before cargo moves.
Can freight be managed with procurement?
Freight management is coordinated with specification, documentation and timing requirements. Our chartering capability is provided through a longstanding Athens-based shipping partnership, with procurement and logistics considered together.
For an independent freight requirement, see chartering and freight management. General industrial raw-material sourcing is described on our industrial materials page.
